16th Guitar Festival - Barcelona centre

Over the past few years the festival has gained a reputation for quality concerts performed by the best players of the instrument. Highlights in 2004 include performances by: flamenco singer Estrella Morente and guitarists Montoyita and Manuel Parrilla; Argentine jazz guitarist Luis Salinas with his group; the legendary John Williams; Turkish multi-instrumental virtuoso Omar Faruk Tekbilek; rock legend Pat Travers; and top flamenco guitarist Tomatito with the Orquesta Simfònica de Barcelona.
